It is important to us that pupils from Shoreham Village School attend the secondary school that will best meet their needs and enable them to flourish and be successful in their new academic environment.  A few of our pupils each year sit the 11+ entrance examinations and those who are successful usually accept places at Grammar Schools.  The majority of our pupils transfer to local state schools and a few apply for places at independent schools.

In recent years, our Year 6 pupils have transferred to Year 7 in the following schools:

Bennett Memorial Diocesan School

Hadlow Rural College

Hillview School for Girls

Knole Academy

Maidstone Grammar School for Girls

Radnor House

The Judd Grammar

Tonbridge Girls’ Grammar

Trinity School

Tunbridge wells Boys Grammar School

Weald of Kent Grammar School

Wrotham School
