You can see full details of our admission arrangements in the Admissions Policy below. You can find full details of when applications open, and deadlines here.

Appeals

If your child is due to start Primary school in September, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day. For information on deadlines, click here.

In-Year Admissions

If your child is at primary school and you want to move them to a different school, this is called an in-year admission.  There is no guarantee that we will be able to offer your child a place and you should not remove your child from their current school before you have an offer of a place from us. For an in-year admission place, you need to apply to our school directly using this form:

We advise all prospective parents to visit the school so that they can experience the warm, dynamic ‘buzz’ of a working school day at Shoreham Village School.  Every day is an Open Day and we encourage visits at times that are convenient for all families.

Our school prospectus contains key information about new and in-year admissions arrangements.

We have created a virtual tour of the school for prospective parents which is available to view below.  It was filmed in an empty school with no displays up (due to Covid) but we hope it gives you a flavour of our space and facilities, even though it cannot reflect our wonderful warm, caring and busy atmosphere!  This is best done by visiting the school.

If you wish to have a tour, please contact the school office on 01959 522228 or email  office@shoreham.kent.sch.uk

Please advise us if you have any access or other requirements so that we can ensure you have a wonderful experience when you visit us.
